Neurodiversity Support for Line Managers

Build Confident, Inclusive Leadership

Give your managers the tools to support neurodivergent team members through practical training, drop-ins, tailored guidance, and everyday inclusion strategies.

Confident conversations. Inclusive leadership. Real impact.

Managers shape culture more than policies ever will. They make or break how included, supported, and safe someone feels at work, especially if they’re neurodivergent.

At Neuro Tide, we support line managers to lead with empathy, clarity, and confidence. Whether they’re supporting a neurodivergent team member, reviewing workflows, or running a one-to-one meeting, we give them the tools to get inclusion right, day to day, and in the moments that matter most.

Formats That Work

  • One-off sessions

  • Training series or manager development programmes

  • Pair with workplace assessments, team training, or employee surveys

  • Follow-up coaching or Q&A

  • In-person or online, UK based and global delivery

What We Offer

  1. Neurodiversity Training for Managers
Clear, practical training sessions built for busy leaders. Available as general awareness or condition-specific (e.g. autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia) with lived experience insight and real-world scenarios. Managers leave with the confidence to lead inclusively from the front.

  2. Drop-In & Q&A Sessions
Confidential, live one hour spaces where managers can ask questions, share challenges, and get support, whether it's about performance conversations, communication barriers, or team dynamics. No jargon, just practical answers.

  3. Manager Toolkits
Downloadable guides, checklists, and templates to support performance reviews, appraisals, onboarding, communication, and more, built with a neuroinclusive lens.

  4. Surveys & Questionnaires
Custom employee experience surveys to help HR and managers understand how neurodivergent team members are experiencing work, from workload and meetings to systems, progression, and support. Compare neurotypical and neurodivergent feedback to highlight gaps and next steps.

  5. Sensory & Workflow Strategy
We help managers rethink the small things that make a big difference, lighting, noise, communication styles, feedback loops, workloads, deadlines, and how “normal” systems actually land.

Whether you're in healthcare, tech, education, finance, or beyond, we shape our sessions to speak your language.

You’re Not Alone in This.

Whether a manager is supporting one neurodivergent colleague, or leading a large team, they deserve the right tools and support too.

Because when managers feel confident, neurodivergent employees feel safer. And when people feel safe, they thrive.

Let’s equip your managers to lead with clarity, care, and inclusion.

Poor line management is a key driver of disengagement and absenteeism, particularly for neurodivergent employees (People Management, 2023; BPS, 2022).

Line manager training is essential to turn policy into practice.

Our line manager support empowers and gives confidence to line managers, which in turn supports your colleagues.

Case Study: Manager Support Turns Team Around

The challenge:

The line manager with a creative agency was unsure how to support a neurodivergent team member, who’s challenges included communication and deadlines.

What Neuro Tide did:

We stepped in and had several informal conversations with the colleague and manager, separately and together, to establish where the challenges and pinchpoints were. We provided the manager with some easy-to-use tools as well as an understanding of the colleague’s neurodivergence. Additionally, we delivered our line manager training session for all managers in the agency, so all were in a positive position.

The outcome for the creative agency:

Within weeks, clarity improved, well-being, and performance rebounded. One empowered manager changed everything.
