Q&A sessions ↓

Workplace neurodiversity Q&A sessions for the questions that come next.

Understanding neurodiversity rarely begins and ends with one training session, one conversation or one resource.

People learn something new. They notice something differently. A situation happens at work. A conversation raises another question.

That is often where deeper understanding begins.

Different strengths. Different experiences. Different ways of working.

Neurodifferences can influence communication, attention, processing, sensory experience, energy, organisation, creativity, problem solving and ways of working.

They can contribute to strengths and capabilities. They can also interact with environments, systems and expectations in ways that create barriers, overload, misunderstanding or friction.

Q&A sessions make room for that whole picture, while recognising that no diagnosis, label or list of characteristics can tell us everything about an individual.

01 Ask. Explore. Understand.
02 Ask without perfect language
03 Explore the context
04 Make understanding useful
05 Keep learning moving
01

A live conversation shaped by what people actually want to understand.

A Neuro Tide Q&A session is designed around the questions themselves, rather than around a presentation.

The conversation is the session.

People bring the questions, experiences and situations that matter to them. We bring specialist neurodiversity knowledge, lived experience, professional expertise and a neuroaffirming lens to help explore them with greater depth and context.

02

Ask without needing perfect language.

People may want to understand terminology, a neurodifference, communication, sensory experience, executive functioning, energy, adjustments, inclusion, working relationships or something they have heard during training.

Questions can be explored openly and respectfully, with learning rather than judgement at the centre of the conversation.

03

Explore context rather than assumptions.

There is rarely one universal neurodivergent experience. We look beyond broad characteristics and consider individual experience, environment, expectations, strengths, barriers and what else may be shaping the situation.

That moves the conversation away from stereotypes and towards more thoughtful understanding.

04

Make neuroinclusion useful in everyday working life.

Questions often become most meaningful when people can connect them with something real.

That might be how meetings work, how information is communicated, how colleagues collaborate, how change is introduced, how somebody can offer support or how everyday working practices could become more inclusive.

05

Keep learning moving.

Q&A sessions can follow Neuro Tide training, sit within a wider neuroinclusion programme or provide regular access to specialist thinking over time.

They create somewhere for new questions to go as understanding develops and working life continues.

Manager Q&A sessions

When the question belongs to management, the conversation needs a management lens.

Dedicated manager Q&A sessions give line managers and people managers a trusted space to bring real workplace situations, explore the context around them and think more clearly about what may help.

Bring the situation. Explore the context. Strengthen judgement.

01 / 04

Bring what is happening now.

Start with the situation in front of you.

A workplace adjustment request. Feedback that has not landed as expected. A change in workload. A conversation about performance. A new disclosure. Communication that keeps getting crossed. A team dynamic that needs more understanding.

Managers can bring the situations they are encountering in real working life rather than trying to fit them into a predefined example.

Real questions make the conversation relevant.

02 / 04

Understand before deciding.

Look at the person, the work and the context together.

Neurodivergent colleagues can bring significant strengths, capability, knowledge and different ways of thinking while also experiencing barriers in particular environments, processes, communication or ways of working.

We help managers separate what is known from what may be assumed and consider what else could be shaping the experience before deciding what the situation means.

Context creates better questions.

03 / 04

Build judgement through application.

Useful support should strengthen the manager, not replace them.

Neuroinclusive management is not about memorising the right response for every neurodifference or relying on a script whenever something unexpected happens.

It is about becoming more confident in listening, asking useful questions, recognising individual variation and considering what could make work clearer, more accessible or more workable for the person involved.

Better understanding supports more confident management.

04 / 04

Know when the question needs another route.

Not every situation belongs in a Q&A session.

Some questions can be explored through conversation and leave a manager with greater clarity about their next step.

Others may point towards a workplace assessment, reasonable adjustment coaching, case guidance, HR involvement or another form of specialist support where more individual or organisational understanding is needed.

Recognising that difference is part of good judgement too.

Understand the question. Then choose the right next step.

Give questions somewhere useful to go.

Q&A sessions can support learning after training, create regular space for questions or give people access to specialist neurodiversity thinking when something new arises.

You might already know how you would like the sessions to work. You might simply know that your people need somewhere trusted to ask.

Either is enough.
